Criteria used to judge:

• Technology: What is unique about the technology the company uses or the service it provides? Is there patented intellectual property?
• Management Team: Is the team experienced? Have they done it before?
• Customers: Who is using/testing the product or service? What revenue is being generated?
• Business Model: How will the company make money? What is the competition?
• Alliances: Who will help the company gain leverage? Does it have relationships with key industry players in its sector?
• Financing: How much money has the company raised? Is it enough to accomplish its goals? Who are the investors?
